After leaving my job as an attorney at a large law firm in Chicago, I began sharing my writing. In poetry and prose, I write about parenthood and politics, and the intersection between the two. I have ghostwritten for political candidates and elected officials, and developed communication strategies for not-for-profit organizations and businesses. My personal pieces have been published in print and online, and shared by The Huffington Post, Today Show’s Parents, Mamalode, Kelle Hampton (Enjoying the Small Things), and Yoga Girl (Rachel Brathen). My husband and I live outside of Chicago with our three children.
